I'm Magda, a Henna Artist and the founder of Gipsy Henna BCN.
Art has always been a part of my life, and when I discovered the world of henna tattoos, I felt an instant connection. It's more than just drawing on the skin—it's about telling stories, expressing beauty, and honoring tradition through every design. With this passion, I created Gipsy Henna BCN a few years ago, a project born from the heart that reflects both my roots and my love for this art.
I am also certified by Maitri's Mehndi after completing the Professional Full Bridal Mehndi Course, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge and refine my techniques in traditional bridal henna.
Why "Gipsy Henna BCN"? Because I am Gipsy, and I have always been fascinated by the history of my people. It is said that the Gipsies originally come from India, a country where henna is much more than just decoration—it's a symbol of celebration, good fortune, and protection. I love the idea that, through my art, I am closing a circle, reconnecting with these origins, and blending my heritage with an ancient tradition.
Today, with Gipsy Henna BCN, I have the privilege of sharing this art in Barcelona, creating unique designs for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, events, or simply for those who want to wear something special on their skin.
